The Kitchen Window Killearn has quickly become a beloved breakfast and brunch destination nestled in the picturesque village of Killearn, Glasgow. Patrons rave about the stunning views and the warm ambiance, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Sarah Lawrence's experience highlights the restaurant's fabulous breakfast, particularly the ‘insane’ French toast that has earned widespread acclaim. Meanwhile, Wendy M's mention of the massive portions, especially the delicious shakshuka, reassures guests they'll leave satisfied.
The focus on quality shines through in Barry Munro’s review, where he praises the generous Reuben sandwich and delectable cakes, specifically the biscoff layer cake. Diners should be mindful of the bustling atmosphere and consider reserving a table on weekends, as Matthew Cook suggests, to avoid disappointment. His newfound affection for the café speaks volumes about the commitment of the friendly staff in creating a relaxed environment even during peak hours.
For Derek O’Connor, the delightful offerings like the smoked salmon croissant and perfectly hot French toast made the hour drive worthwhile. With its beautiful decor and attentive service, The Kitchen Window Killearn is not just a meal; it’s an experience that beckons you to return.

What a fabulous breakfast spot ! The location is beautiful, inside is lovely decorated and it's a nice relaxed vibe. There is plenty to choose from on the menu, we'd 100% recommend the french toast it was insane ! The staff are super friendly, attentive and kind. Thank you so much for the fantastic hospitality. My friend and I had a lovely time here and will be recommending this lovely little spot.

Delicious shakshuka and French toast for brunch, plus great coffee. Friendly staff and beautiful views. Portions are massive, be warned!

Really generous portions of good quality food, the Reuben sandwich was huge and full of delicious sauerkraut. The coffee and cake also worth having as both were really tasty, the biscoff layer cake was amazing. Would recommend reserving a seat on weekends as quite a few people were turned away on both Saturday and Sunday lunchtime visits.

My new favourite cafe, WOW! Absolutely stunning cafe with beautiful views and immense food. The waitresses were all warm and friendly and created a really chilled and nice environment - even when they were busy. It’s a popular cafe, so it goes without saying, call up beforehand if you want a table. For the quality and taste of food the menu is very reasonably priced. I will 100% be coming back here and recommending this place to anyone and everyone.

My daughter treated my wife and I to lunch in the Kitchen Window in Killearn today which was absolutley delicious. My wife had the smoked salmon and cream cheese croissant, my daughter had the flat iron steak sandwich with portion of chip potatoes with skins on and I had the french toast with caramelised banana with pecan nuts and white chocolate, all food was served piping hot by pleasant staff the views from our table were stunning, I would definitely recommend this place well worth the hour drive to get there. We will definitely be back.

As a birthday treat from Lynne Williamson for The Dandy Tiger aka Bryan McEleney we revisited The Kitchen Window in Killearn as we enjoyed it so much the last time. We wanted to try some different things from the last time starting of with my drink....an iced pistachio matcha . It was so refreshing and delicious. I kept forgetting and thinking I was drinking a milk then the flavours would hit me, definitely having that again. Food: Tom Yum Chicken Slice "Piece" Sandwich - Panko breaded chicken topped with a fried egg and kimchi slaw, with tom yum mayo and chilli oil on sourdough. Halloumi Stack - Brioche bun, panko halloumi, avocado, tomato, bacon, fried egg and chimichurri. Side of hand cut "chips" with choice of seasoning and dip, we chose rosemary and aioli. The "chips" are in quotations as they were (happily) more like potato slices/thick crisps. They are what defeated us in the end as we couldn't finish them but the staff were kind enough to give us a takeaway box, even for the aioli. The staff were kind, lovely and pleasant. The atmosphere was quiet enough for a peaceful lunch but far from empty. Locals, cyclists, families, friends and even dogs popped in and out for casual lunches. There is also a lift for wheelchair/mobility access . Great outdoor surroundings and views. What I will emphasize is, when you see "pieces" i.e. sandwiches on the menu, you might think "will that be enough?" YES! They are stacked high and full of ingredients and flavours. Each bite combo hit different. Lynney managed to get an Itison voucher which saved us roughly 20 (essentially a meal and drink) We will be back, keen to try something different but I did love my Shakshuka from the previous time.

Visited this place for a birthday brunch today. The place is absolutely beautiful with an amazing view. We had the best table and received a great service. Staff were lovely too . The food was also very delicious but unfortunately we found hair in the Halloumi cheese which I wanted to give 4 star. However because of the great service we received i will definitely recommend this place and definitely visit again. Thank you

I love this little gem. 2nd time in 2 weeks. Have been a few times, but took my family today for my birthday lunch this time. I did prebooked as 6 of us. Love the chilled vibe about the place. Especially on a Sunday! The team serving were amazing. Let you chat, are they when you need them, service perfected, absolutely 5 star. I’m working my way through the menu as I struggle to choose what to eat, as I would eat it all and never been disappointed. But I’ll get there!! The food is fresh, tasty and delicious. The crockery is mixed denby, which I love and the biggest quirky tea pots ever!! The view is breathtaking! They noticed it was my birthday and put a candle on my cake. As I say, best chilled Sunday afternoon, with good food, family and lovely team members in the restaurant
